Meet Justina
Introducing Justina,
She is an ex-student of Mrs Lloyd, having studied for over ten years.
She has completed two diplomas: an Associate Teacher’s Diploma in IMEB and a diploma in All the world’s a stage, World Drama.
Growing up, Justina found it especially easy to partake in public speaking situations and even leadership roles due to confidence and charismatic personality that was only further enhanced through Merryl Lloyd’s Speech and Drama company.
Now, there is nothing more she loves than speaking in front of large crowds, as there is no greater ego boost than having a crowd laugh at your corny jokes or commend you on your maturity afterwards.
She has been part time teaching with Mrs Lloyd for three years and has witnessed many previous students surpassing expectations and become confident people themselves, speaking with poise, being articulate, and overall outshining those who tend to stick to the shadows.
She is a charismatic and encouraging teacher currently studying engineering at university.
Meet Christine
Christine has been a Speech and Drama student for the last 9 years and has completed an Associate Teacher’s Diploma as well as the Licentiate Teacher’s Diploma.
Currently, she is in her second year of studying a Speech and Hearing Degree with plans to do a Master’s in Speech Pathology. She has been an Assistant teacher for the last 4 years with Merryl Lloyd’s school. Her passion is to see students reach potential in all they attempt.
Meet Mithra
Mithra has had a love for speech and drama from a young age having studied under Mrs Lloyd for over 10 years and she has completed her Associate Teachers Diploma. After qualifying as a Lawyer, Mithra has returned back to teaching in 2023 and has found this experience incredibly rewarding and inspiring.
Mithra believes speech and drama is not just an after school activity but a key life skill and her time with Mrs Lloyd has helped shape her into the independent and confident individual that she is.
She finds such joy in teaching students the key concepts of speech and drama, giving them the space to be creative, to communicate with each other and watch each of them grow into the best versions of themselves. She is honoured to be part of their own personal journey.
